We’re Jess and Mare. We are best friends, business partners, and the creators of Gathre (pronounced gath-ur). As young moms, we struggled with the disconnect between wanting to live with intention and having lives so jam-packed we could hardly keep up. We realized if we wanted to live purposefully, we’d have to first clear out a little space.
MAKING MATS
Our original Gathre mat was born out of this mentality - it gave us a literal space to gather with our kids, but was always about more. It was about making the effort to create a moment. Not a blip or a blur or a blink of an eye - a space of time where we could stop and be together.
